My Story

Hello! and thanks for coming to my site. My name is Will and I have spent the past 7+ years working for a tech company that specializes in data collection and network monitoring solutions. The primary codebase is mixture of php/python/bash/javascript/html/docker with On-Prem and SaaS deployments (AWS, kubernetes, vmware). I mostly do backend work but do brush up against the front end on occasion. I'll be the first to admit that my skillset isn't being a nodejs or react bro who has 3 months to make a killer personal portfolio website. My skillset is that I deliver results and can learn new things quickly. I give everything to the job at hand and have a thirst for making meaningful impact.

I have a degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. I graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Information Technology with a concentration in Databases and Programming. I have also completed a Simplilearn w/ IBM post graduate certificate program in Artifical Intelligence Engineering. Anybody in tech will tell you how fast it moves. I will say that 90% of my education in the tech world has been self taught or from developers far more experienced than I.

When i'm not fufilling my purpose as a tech affectionado -- I'm a dad, husband, amateur guitar player, and beachgoer.
